Claire Trevor co-stars. Then, after the Civil War, an ex-Confederate soldier (Scott) finds himself going up against his three brothers when he gets a job with the railroad and his siblings fall in with crooks planning a train heist, in "Santa Fe" (1951). With Janis Carter, Roy Roberts. "Man in the Saddle" (1951) stars Scott as a cowpoke caught between two women and the ruthless rancher who wants him done in. Joan Leslie, Ellen Drew also star. A Confederate officer (Scott) leads a regiment on a raid of Yankee goods in Nevada. Little does he know that the Civil War is over, and now he and his men must face prosecution, in "Hangman's Knot" (1952). Donna Reed and a young Lee Marvin also star. And, Scott stars as former member of Quantrill's Raiders who gets mixed up in an old comrade's scheme to hijack stagecoach gold shipments, in "The Stranger Wore a Gun" (1953). With Trevor, Ernest Borgnine. Two-disc set also includes "The Nevadan." 8 1/2 hrs. total.
