Reviews:

''I've Got So Much to Give'' is the self-produced debut album by American R&B singer Barry White, released in 1973 on the 20th Century label. The album immediately marked out White's distinctive trademark sound (growling monologues, impassioned vocals, percussive rhythm tracks and soaring string arrangements), particularly via its breakout single "I'm Gonna Love You Just a Little More Baby", an R&B chart-topper and #3 pop hit which remains one of White's definitive and most influential recordings. ''I've Got So Much to Give'' follows the pattern pioneered from 1969 onwards by such as Isaac Hayes and Motown producer Norman Whitfield of containing a small number of lengthy and ambitious tracks forming a cohesive whole, rather than the previously accepted norm for R&B albums of two or three potential hit singles surrounded by filler. The album was an immediate success, becoming the first of four consecutive White albums to top the R&B chart and peaking at #16 on the pop chart.

Although most of White's more highly-regarded 20th Century albums have remained in print, ''I've Got So Much to Give'' is currently (2010) unavailable for purchase, with sought-after second-hand copies selling for very high sums. - Wikipedia
