The Lilith lady's first-ever holiday offering starts poignantly with an adaptation of John and Yoko's "Happy X-Mas (War Is Over)"' and then descends into brutal death metal. Just kidding. McLachlan's been curiously silent for the last three years, but focuses Wintersong on sad, bittersweet holiday music (Lightfoot's "Song for a Winter's Night").
